Fuel Rail

So apparently there is a guy here in town that owns a business called "custom metal works" and one of the things he specializes in is fuel rails. I was talking to my roommate about it and he thinks that he could easily beat the price of pallnets fuel rail but, I have to talk to him about it first. Could anyone give me the specs of their billet fuel rail so that I could get him to make me a one off. If it turns out to work and fit nicely we might be able to get cheaper fuel rails available to us.

Pallnet's fuel rails are only like $100, I dont think thats too much to ask especially when you know your getting quality parts

mine with pressure gauge and shipping was $171. Well worth it. I love my rail. And JSK's are just to rare.

I'm running a JSK. I think since it is 1 year out of production its worth $500 now!

too bad you don't have a Pallnet rail to take to him so he can get his own measurements. They would need to be very precise. or take him a spare stock rail. That'll give him the spacing on the injectors.

Maybe I'll go ahead and buy the pallnet piece for myself and bring it to him. I don't think there is anything to worry about when it comes to quality with his work though, all the local guys rave about him. I know the pallnet pieces don't cost much but, if these could be like half the price of those with the same quality wouldn't you rather spend $50 on something else?

Im sure the guy in your area is great but I just dont like the idea of taking pallnet's fuel rail to copy and sell so that he loses business.

who's to say Pallnet didnt buy a JSK rail a while back... Its just a rod of aluminum with injector spacing the same as the stock rail. Anyone with the same lath can make one.

Sorry to say but, that's how business is. I mean the material cost cannot be that high so Im sure whoever it is makes plenty off those rails, what's wrong with finding someone to make the same thing cheaper?

Yeah... these aren't patented fuel rails. To each their own.

Some things you guys should know.

I did not copy JSK rails; he did not do any real R&D work to make the rails to where they worked 100% correctly. I now have one of JSK's O-ring rails and I can tell you that's it's poorly designed behind all the flash and glamour. It was on a car a friend bought and removing it (his thoughts) was the first mod he had to have done.BTW, if you like the JSK rail, it will be on Ebay shortly starting out at a buck ($1.00).Yours not just getting a nice package when you buy from me, you get great service and years of Z knowledge backing them up.

Hey pallnet, you made out pretty good with your last few auctions. I wanted the ARP hardware but they ended up higher than retail
