Fog in the car
My 83 280ZX has one of those "AUTOMATIC" air and heating systems and hate it. Can it be replaced with a manual system?
Whenever it rains pretty good, my car gets foggy inside because the defrost/AC/Heat does not work and my view of the road from inside the car is poor (I keep my eye on the Weather Channel).

climate control??
just dont turn the **** to climate control turn it to defogger it should be ok if thats what your talking about....
but im taking mine out just unhooked it and threw it out i dont think it worked anyways....

It's possible, but I heard it's time consuming. If you run a search in the zcar.com archives in the 70-83 tech forum, you might find what you're looking for. I hate the auto climate, that thing is stupid, it will 90 degrees outside and it won't work. If it's 40 degrees, it'll work.

If your windows fogg up really easy then you might need to just clean them really good with windex a couple times. Even if it doesn't kick in at the right time, the defrost position should at least blow air out. If that doesn't work then you have other problems. Maybe a bad fan motor or a blown fuse on the bottom of the fan motor.
