Floor Temp?
ok fast question...
Theres a warning light on my dash (82' 280ZX N/A, 5-speed) that always lights on as soon as i start the car and never goes away for any reason till i **** it off again.
It simply says: Floor Temp
Ok, the useless chiltons has no info on this either, and for the life on me i cant imagine what the temperature of the floor matters...anybody have any ideas what it really means or how to make it go away the right now? (By right i mean without just unplugging the lights, im trying to FIX things lol)

Buy a Haynes manual... Chilton sucks.
Google search revealed this:

I remember reading about it in the Haynes manual a few years ago.

Thanks for the fast reply (and OMG that wood work in the 1st link is awesome)
So i suppose i can safely unplug the sensor, and that it does nothing but trip a light warning me from parking in high grass and thus having a weenie-roast over my chared car?
As long as it doesn't directly influence emissions in some detectable way then i guess it doesn't matter.
