Well started striping the old under coat from the floors and frame all looked new till I got to the passenger side......Where the floor board curves up into the fire wall... The packed it full of tiger hair.

It rotted aprox 18" in length totally missing in some spots. My bud freaked said junk the car and count my losses. Its a floor support and I found a replacement on zedd finder.

For 100 bucks this cant be carrying too much weight. That's all in the side rails/rockers and tranny tub correct? Hate to junk her at this point being the only rotten place on the car! Fig replace alot of the bad and where it curves up the fire wall weld a **** load of 16 gauge tin in to tie it all back together ??

Not a good company I take it? Where else can I order this part if anyone knows? Only thing I found after trolling around for 2 hrs online. most of the pics on that site are stolen from other sites, so keep looking and you may find the original site (or someone here may know the original site)

but i have heard a few stories from there (them using stock photos that aren't their stock is enough for me)

Yeah wanted me to send a money order from walmart to Canada.....um smells a lil fishy!!!! I got this Zed findings site with the same pic ugh just want the part ya know...pay 1500.00 to have it on my doorstep by next Friday no B/S!!

I wish.....Na Learned from my Fiat not that simple got a few 45 bends in such plus naturally its shaped in a U then to bend that to a 45 way out of my league im good cutting and welding not custom fab...

Saw a few reviews on another Z link about that Zed company sounds good and its 150 a side. Just 4-8 weeks with a check mailed still a lil fishy but least I can put a stop payment on the check or turn it over to the magistrate if I get bilked.

Just makes me sick car was perfect when I checked it out. LOL better off not touching the underbelly But hey least the rest is a 100 percent besides a few holes here than there. On last nasty one by the rear end I got to weld up.

But the fact remains its a 600.00 car with a few issues sometimes got to forget that factory restored show piece you want and make it in to a nice Gasser that's not perfect but at least you can have fun in

So pop rivet the fenders back on throw some puddy into the lil trouble spots throw a coat of flat black on it and polish the chrome and still take her to the cruises. LOL going to be a few years not months like I planned
