Hey guys,
Well, I finally bought the car I've always had an interest in since I was a kid. As things happen sometimes, it fell right in my lap! I sold my last project (73 F100 4X4) and decided to check the local craigslist to see what was for sale. I always keep an eye out for Z's but around here, southern Utah, they aren't very common. And the ones I have seen, the owners are very attached to them and want a pretty penny. Anyways, I punch up craigslist and 5 cars or so down the list... is this.
A 1980 Datsun 280zx, 5spd, 103000 miles. The ad says it is in great shape. The price said otherwise... I have seen these "great shape" cars with low prices before, and it looked like racoons were living in them.
This was different! It IS in great shape! Little paint fix here or there and one tear in the drivers seat. Sun cracked dash and wrinkled headliner. THATS IT. It is 31 years old.... this is nothing...
So, I picked the car up for a steal. I got it home when it was dark, but I know you like pics, so I did the best I could.
I'm excited to be a part of the Z gang, and thanks for the help I'll probably need in advance .
