Driving me FLIPPING NUTS
Hope someone out there can help figure this out....
My '81ZX will start idle and run for anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 hours. Depending on it's mood of the day. I've replaced all the relays checked the fusable links replaced fuel pump checked timing and no better (or worse) results. I have a Kameari(spelling?) dizzy and ignition module in it. It's ran fine for 3 years with no problem. One day it stalled while doing 70 then picked up. A couple weeks later it does it again then more often to the point I won't take it out anymore knowing it's going to die multiple times before I get a mile.
Ideas?
Suggestions?
Gasoline a match and hotdog roast over it's burning carcass?

Corrosion on some connectors somewhere can do that. ECU starting to give out will do that too. Is everything clean and hooked up right along with no vacuum leaks and the valves adjusted properly? And your oil/coolant isnt milky? also do a compression check just to make sure its not mechanical.
Check the CHTS on the passenger side of the motor. It's a little connector just under the #5 spark plug, close to the oil filter. Make sure the connections are clean and that it had a good connection when mated up.
