Drag Races

Last Saturday me and gray went to these local drag races ...we payed $25 bucks each... we got to a bunch of runs on a 1/8 of a mile course.about five runs each..its a two day event .i was tired so i didnt stay for day two .you get time slips to show you if your runs are getting better or worse...it was really fun there where alot of sick cars there ..i didnt win one time but owell AT ZX'S really dont drag race all that well stock ..but i dont think THE BLACK did to bad .she was about a second off the turbo ae86.... the 240sx sr20det i was about one and a half seconds off ...after each run you get to drive though the car show pit back to your spot .alot of poeple where checking out my car ..i was the only z car there .
It was really a good setup .check out the nova in the pics ..its a 1100hp .THIS guy that WORKS at the parts store here in town drives it , thaT CAR IS SICK.i did alot of tuning during the cool down times... each run my car did better and better so iam pretty happy with the whole trip ..they do this once a month out here ....at the end of washington , the town is called forks its a **** hole ..but there where a lot of nice cars out there ..iam going to test and tune there from now on
iam posting a vid up so check back .for now pics ...
There is BEE'S nest in my brown parts cars i hate bee's ..!
I found a turbo car for a $100 bucks so turbo swap time coming soon !!!

i dont like 1/8 mile races to short, and not to many people can really comprehend how quick a car is with an 1/8 mile time, it goes by so fast. racing however is racing so its alwasy fun, and 25 buck isnt bad out hear at route 66 its an amazing track no doubt but we gotta pay na entrance fee and a racing fee it costs like 40 dollars, and now im car-less for the battle of the imports, but ill just pretend to be my one buddies pit crew member or soemthing lol.

i forgot to say the track its setup for 1/8 mile but you can run the whole 1/4.
if you want to race someone that way .it was alot of fun ..i think i would have been faster if i could have gottin time sheets for the whole 1/4 mile ..AT Z'S ARE SLOW OFF THE LINE
BUT TURBO 5 speed is soon to come so no worries

behind the stands is the drag strip lolololol looks like i was window shoping .

as soon as i get my turbo motor set setup i will will be putting the 5 speed to IT and installing it all at one time .....
I JUST DONT WANT TO FIGHT WITH THE TRANY GETTING IT IN ..I WOULD RATHER PUT IT ALL TOGETHER AS A UNIT THEN DO THE INSTALL ..HOPFULLY THIS IS HOW IT WILL GO.

my 81 turbo car iS waiting for me to pick up ..i just have to wait untell i have a $100 bucks and truck and trailor setup ...next week sometime hopfully .the car only has a 100654 on the od ..motor is missing the dissy and turbo fuel pump ..car was rolled but seems to be a good doner car ..ether way with my car and that car i will be on my way to making the old black turbo maddness ...if old brown dora would sell then i wouldnt have to wait ...but the guy said that it ant going anywhere untell i pick it up so next week should be just fine ...

TURBO TURBO

nismo the car is nuts, we met him up hear at the canada meet, he has a crap load of goodies done to this thing including sds i believe, a hybrid t3-t4 turbo, intercooler and like 18 plus pounds of boost, he just blew it up here 2 weeks ago trying to hard, so ittl be back, and faster he says the motor lasted 3 years of drag race punishment tho!!!

Iv never been to the track so I wouldnt know but, Is there any point in warming up your tires (doing a burnout) If your running street tires?

no you should NOT do any burnout, its actually bad for the track, that and radials dont heat up for long enough to warrant anything like that. slicks heat up quickly and maintain there heat, so it worth it, they also need to be clean, hence the burnout. for street tires a quick spin is all you need, just stay far away from the water box.
