Do yall think I will really need to replace the rotors after a few hours of the brake on? They're brand new

go down the check list.. start with pads.. if braking they are different.. wierd sounds vibrations iregular braking.. then yes time to change the rotors to... if your hearing wierd noises still from the rear.. your wheel bearings are probably going on you

you can look and see with the rotors, if they are dis-colored, or have grooves in them, then buy new ones, as for the bearings, they suck to do if they are orig. trust me there. the will have to be done no matter what here, check the caliper dust boots for damage from the heat as well. they should be fine, but sometimes these things happen, but install a bigger ebrake light, then as bleach suggested, get her to help, ive done this, they suddenly understand when they smack their knuckles into the control arm!

Shady very well put!

Anyway, as every other morning I went to get in my car, start it go to work the norm. this morning was not normal though.....

The car right off the bad started acting odd, the engine was lagging, like I had a massive cam, I figured it needed gas because I was low, so I put gas in it. Still did it, so I said to my self, well I'll let it get a little warmer it will go away. And well no it runs like **** all of a sudden..........

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mine does that sometimes after I have been under the hood touching stuff, just check all the connections under the hood first to be safe. Sometimes I bump one or 3 and the car acts funny till I makes sure all of them are tight...make sure nothing got sucked into the air filter...from there the other guys may have suggestions if that doesn't help.

I havent been under the hood in a while, a few weeks. Doesn't really make sense, though I will check the plug wires. This is irritating as hell.

The EFI System on these cars is a finnicky little Bi*&H. Chances are, that moisture got into a connector somewhere and is either still there, or created enough corrosion to make for a bad contact point. The best thing to do is remove every electrical connector you can find, clean the contacts really well (Small wire brush etc... ) and seal them back up with di-electric grease so it doesn't happen again.

I would start with the big one on the bottom of the AFM and see what happens.

Did you change the upper hose?

If so, you most likely knocked something loose in or around the air regulator...

Or, you got one of the plugs up there wet in the process.

3000 posts! woohoo!!!!!!!!

Ok so here it goes......

I found that plug three was loose, ok cool. Who ever posted take your engine wires clean them and digrease them is a god! O MY GOD! I took off all my injector plugs cleaned them and greased them!!! IT was like driving a new car!!!! O MY GOD!! I was giddy to say the least!

Non the less I came home to put the car in the drive way and then my drivers headlight went out............. Another damn thing to replace... So I start looking I was like WTH? there is still light coming from the headlight, so I hit the steering wheel out of anger, and the light pops back on! So I wiggle the plug that goes into the large piece of plastic that holds all the controls on the steering wheel, and it caught on fire...........

Damn I'm pissed.

Only thing I am going to say is

"If it's not one thing it's a million others.."
