83 280zx turbo. i have found two different diagrams on the position of the cap one shows #1 approx 9oclock the other shows #1 approx 4-5oclock. i just had the car in the only shop in town that would even look at it. They replaced all 6 injectors and the fuel press regulator but when i picked it up it had no power and is missing and makes a popping sound under the hood when i accelorate.

...ok fine it's to mark cylinder one... anyhow make sure the plug on the AFM is pluged in properly - that will cause all sorts of problems.
You only have one shop in town that will work on cars? I'm mean it's not like the ZX is a super complicated system. If a mechanic can't work on that then you don't want to take ANY vehicle ever to that shop...
I hope you didn't pay for the car if they didn't fix it....

only paid for the injector and reg R & R. When i called around and told the sops what i had most of them just did not want to work on it. That included the NIssan place. The shop I found just works on fireign cars but most mechanics are younger than the car.
