i just swapped the origonal dist. w/points for the 79 w/the 12-80 ic attached. before preforming a rewiring job, running the green and red wires off of the coil, and using the wiring as it was the engine did not run at all. after rewiring it runs really rough, barely at all, and will not smooth out nomatter how far I turn the dist.
Since the dist only fists in one way and teh plug wires were swapped one for one I cant guess at what my problem is, anyone else?
