I have a datsun 280zx turbo and i found a bigger turbo(good conditions) in the junkyard in a turbo diesel 6 inline from dodge and i was thinking would it work if i put it in my car and if it does wat would be the benefit..

 

Bigger turbo make you go faster. Benefit - more speed.

But if you're gonna go big you may as well go all out....

Ok if you are actually serious about putting on a different turbo you need to get up to speed. Turbo upgrades have been done to death on the L series on this forum and ten others. No offense but asking a question like that is like going into a grocery store and asking the stock boy "is this OK to eat?". Before you start playing around with something that could blow up your engine you should know about how the whole thing works
