Dial cleaning?...

Hi,
The plastic cover in front of my speedo and rev counter etc. looks quite dirty....There's even a dead insect trapped in there!
Is it easy enough to separate the plastic cover from the dials to clean it?
Cheerz,
Jez.

Remove the colored plastic trim that attaches to the dash, then you will see 4 small phillips screws holding the clear plastic to the cluster body. You may or may not need to move it around to get to the screws.

Hi,
Well I removed the dash clocks and took the plastic cover off...It was quite dirty, so gave it a good clean and dusted the dials at the same time.
Also removed each bulb and gave them a dusting too!
The dash lights now seem a bit brighter than before...plus I haven't got an insect decaying inside there either!
Cheerz,
Jez.

Looking good! But you have a RHD with standard (USA) gauges... that's trippy!

Yes..That's one advantage of living in a temperate climate...the sun doesn't damage the interior and paintwork so much. But the rain just rusts your car's bodywork instead!
