Dashboard is out

I'm about to start me restoration on my 83 zxt I got new tokico struts and springs and new carpet kit and new tires. Right now i have the dashboard out because at the time i was going to put my 120 speedo in and I replaced all the bulbs with red LED's.The dash lights worked before. Oh and I bought a dash cover because mine looked terrible. now...before the dash was pulled none of the gauges worked, I know why the speedo didn't (was not connected) but as far as the others no clue. So really my question is with the dash out what would you repair or do before you put it back in. Oh and i bought new dash speakers.

Well, the question is more, "What else is broken?"

Have you checked all the fuses, relays, & connections? If none of the gauges work, it's likely one of those three things.

If it is a digital dash, there is a fuse hidden in the back.

All the ones for your a/c / vent system. They don't necessarily need to be replaced, but you should check them for cracks & leaks while the dash is off.
