Coil's dizzy boot dizzn't fit

I remember the boot was a particularly tight fit when I pulled it off of the coil a couple months back and it was amazingly smaller after it was pulled off. I can't seem to get the sucker pushed back on now though. Is there some trick to getting the boot to flare out big enough to clear the tip of the coil's connection point? The tip of the "trumpet" on the coil seems to be larger than the inner diameter of the boot on my wire from the dizzy. Just lube it up good with dielectric and work it on from a half insertion and alot of force?

ok heres what you do... you go to bath and body works and ask the lotion girl for sentual seduction oil... she will look at you strange and say are you talkin about snoop dog and you tell her no then reply with the password

: doglickersonfriday

she will take you to the secret automotive section in the bath and bodyworks stock room and give you super dooper coil boot applicator oil... it works wonders!!!!

are you for real? just slap a little motor oil on it... but dielectric oil will work...if you aint got none crack open the old coil and get some of that oil!!!

on the new coil i got awhile back the metal pieces didnt matchup perfect so i had to break out the pliers and shape it just alittle but not alot...
