Coil questions
If only I had an air compressor and a surfacing kit. I just use a wire wheel on a dremel. I'm just careful and go over it lightly until the section with gasket remnants feels smooth. Although sometimes I do use a razor blade or a chisel when the surface is hard to get at.
I wouldn't sandblast the gasket surface... You don't really want to touch the inside of the timing cover. If it's not coming off w/ a scraper, go to Autozone and get some Gasket Remover Spray.
Well I tried that too sadly (Can you beleave that Checker/Orielys has STOPPED selling Gasket remover!?)
Anyways no luck with or w/o the gasket stuff I might dunk the part into a thing of carb cleaner That stuff can eat enamel paint
