1982 280ZX Turbo Engine and Wiring

Says it comes with the oil cooler so I'm assuming it's an automatic. Has the less common snow flake wheels as well from the '81 1/2. Don't forget to grab the turbo rear end as well if you're doing a NA -> turbo swap

the Z looks like a 81ZX with a turbo swap.. its got the 79-81 bumpers and non turbo hood as well... might not have the turbo rear end in it..

 

You might need anothe $400 to make it run and maybe more,towing,shipping etc etc

 

Looking at the bay color and wheels it looks to be an 81.5 turbo repainted. Didn't that car have n/a trim?

Car looks like a hodge-podge - it has series one trim as well so who knows (or cares ). You'd have to sight the VIN to know. It's a parts car with a turbo - that's the important part

 

FF that's quite a collection of z cars you have. I do good to maintain one let alone a fleet. Maybe cause I'm so poor.

Lol yea it's quite the collection. I started from the bottom though - went for eight years without a Z trying to get "established" so now I'm enjoying my hard work and sacrifice I do the majority of the work myself even though I don't know what I'm doing but I read a lot and learn as I go - it's fun (that's easy to say when I'm not working out in the rain and wind with bloody knuckles, etc) too. I just pick away at it which keeps it fun and try to help out on the forums where I can. It's a great community and ZDriver has the most active of all the S130 forums so I tend to come here quite often.
