Cannister filter

Can the vapor cannister filter be washed and reused? I'm asking this because none of the local parts stores carry it. Not even the ones that specialize in imports

It's just a vapor pad... you can replace it w/ a generic one. I also google'd "280zx canister filter" and got many results:

I used cotton swabs to replace my worn out vapor pad years ago. I passed emissions with no problem.
