Canadian here, where can I buy a decent set of struts and springs?

Hey guys, I just got my 83 280zx a few weeks ago and I'm tired of the squat and the crashing over every little bump. I've been looking at Tokico HP's and either tokico or eibach springs. I'm trying to spend as little as possible and I'm looking for advice on where to buy (In Canada if possible) or for alternate strut and spring combination. Any help is appreciated!!

Your local Nissan dealer ... local parts store...

Other than that it's online retailers / MSA / BDA.

Hello, welcome. Honestly your best bet is to just do online and delivery out of States. If you find anything local (good luck) the prices will be 3x as much. I gave up on buying anything local even for my f150, the markup is insane. It is cheaper for me to buy online, have delivered with duties and fees etc by far than buying local. I just called local Nissan about a master cylinder for a 300zx...$450 and a 4 week wait, yeah no thanks.

Edit: I am very envious of our southern neighboors...everything I buy has free shipping on it to the States....You guys must love it! I cant get anything with shipping for free even out of Canada.

Fair enough, I was hoping for an online retailer based out of Canada. I'll try some local shops and see if they can get me something at a decent price.

The price of the HPK255 has gone up quite a bit. I don't know if they are even making them any more. Beta Motorsports use to carry them and one of the best prices but then the price went through the roof and they stopped carrying them. There is a thread on here and one on facebook with the lowest price.

I'm in Canada as well and 90% of stuff I buy is from the USA. I have it shipped to a location in the US (cheap/fast) and then import it from there and brokerage it myself and save $$$.

Look into a coil over conversion as well if you are looking for better performance. Ground Control also makes sways and lowering springs for the 280ZX.

The only other option for Canadian stuff is:
Welcome to Modern Motorsports Ltd!

Unfortunately it's hit and miss with Ross in getting stuff shipped out.

I just put new rear struts on my 83 last week. I bought mine from OReilys for about $100 for the pair. I had real bad squat on take-off and shifting and a rattle coming from the right rear. I was amazed at how well these Monroe struts improved my squatting problem and of course the rattle is long gone.
