At this point the age is 1973 and older do not have to smog test. It is believed that CA may enforce a 30 year old and older exemption. That would mean next year it starts at 1974 and older... but that remains to be seen.

do glasspacks make it queter or louder??
i went to a muffler shop and they cant sell me a muffler without looking at my car for some reason...morons....
i saw one cherrybomb glasspack but "cherrybomb" sounds like its gonna be loud.....and yes im still looking for a nice muffler... the 2 1/4 pipe sounds way too loud by itself

well finaly said *** it and ordered a borla muffler hope theyr good as they said they were cuz it wasnt cheap./..

thats an expensive mufler your going with skully... im planning on going with the same one too.. tell me how you like it.. i didnt want mine to be too loud but i wanted a clean sound.. and they told me borla would do that..

yeah i didnt want a fartpipe but yet i didnt wanna lose that engine sound
it says it brings out the engine sound while it keeps it quiet thats exactly what i want...
i dont know how will it go with the straight 2.5 (od) i dunno the inside diameter pipe :P
should be here in a few days....ill slap it on and check...
but remeber i have a straight pipe not a bend in it cept at the beggining and also no cat

one more thing how nice is MSA cuz well when i ordered the kit i said it was for the NA and thats the one with exhaust coming out to the right....but i did my exhaust to come out to the left...now they didnt ship it yet its gonna be at the end of the month when they have some in stock and then theyll ship it i was wondering if they gonna let me change that rear skirt to the left openin for exhasut...

you can call them to see if you can change it for the turbo model.. thats the one where it comes out on the lest side... i changed mine.. well i filled in the hole for the right side and made a smaller opening for the left side.. the opening i made for mine is a lot smaller then the one that it comes with i think it looks a lot cleaner then that big gaping hole that MSA has..

ahhh they already shipped it guess ill have some filling and cuttingg to do
did you just get some fiberglass and some resin and filled that in or what??

yeah thats how the body shop did it.... its not not that hard to do it yourself if youve had experiance with fiberglass before..

got my borla muffler today gonna go slap it on and see how to fit it properly
