Bride wheel...

Ok, so this weekend I'm putting on the Bride steering wheel, among other things, ala Wildman, and am thinking of finding some black "lugs" to replace the chrome ones that came on the wheel, around the horn button. The wheel is brushed aluminum and black, and I thought this would add to contrast. What do you all think???

Thanks...

Ok, here's an Ebay generated pic...

Imagine the 6 connecting bolts, or "lugs" as black...

My interior is mostly black with gray.....

Yeah, but I actually ordered one without the embroidery. I'mthinking about seeing if I can get a "dye pen" to get rid of that....

With a MOMO adapter, it was about $100...

FAKES!!!

I'm just putting this here to let you guys know to be weary when purchasing a "Bride" steering wheel off of ebay. There are a lot of knock offs on there. Judging from the pic above, and the fact that it came from a business, I'd assume that company is selling the real deal. DO NOT BUY one from a private seller if only the hub says Bride on it. It's a fake. Ask them for more pics to authenticate it.Like I said a business is not likely to tarnish their reputation by selling fake products and risking a law suit from the real company. Same goes for all those so called NISMO product. Don't buy them from a private seller or you're likely to get a fake. If you got the one pictured above then I'd say you got a real one Carl. So don't sweat it. Of course all of this doesn't really matter if you're just looking for a good looking steering wheel. But if you're **** about having the real thing then watch out.

Just a few words to the wise

Sorry to bring up such an old post but I am about to buy a new steering wheel myself and if you don't mind I kind of wanted to copy you. So if I buy a Bride(probably not actually Bride) steering wheel like so, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BRIDE...QQcmdZViewItem

and the momo adapter it will work fine?

Thanks
Rob

Hate to break the news, but yes, there is a F&F 3. Filming has already completed and you should see some notable Nissan's in there. I have 3 friends that got 4 cars in the movie. Nice little paycheck too.

Yes, that is the combo that both me and WildMan have. They work great together. That is an actual Bride wheel, BTW. Looks good and drives great. I'm fixing to post some pics in order to talk Rod into buying a Bride as well, since it will go so well with his interior...

I'm still considering it... I just won the tinted headlight covers on ebay for $36.98. Not that much cheaper than VB or MSA, but a pretty good deal still. Steering wheel will be next.

Yes, Me and Wildman both got the MOMO adapter with the Bride wheel, just make sure it'll fit a 280ZX. Adapter is where you're gonna spend the money, but don't be cheap, just do it. Nice setup. I'm gonna post some pics tomorrow. Hopefully it'll push Rod over the edge...

Yeah, they should look pretty good Carl. I also got the "HID" conversion setup with the flat lensed headlights that will hopefully shine bright enough to pierce the tinted covers to the point of being equally if not brighter than the stock headlights are without the covers. We'll see how it goes. I'm going to wire them up to their own circuit and power source to get rid of some of the notorious resistance fade the OEMs suffer from. I have once again become addicted to ebay. I can feel my wallet shrinking a little more every day

Rod.
