Are you saying paint it black as opposed to leaving it like it is in the picture? If so, then for gods sake paint the damn thing Bleach. You painted the block white. The least you can do is give the exhaust manifold a once over

If I paint the manifold black, I'm painting the valve cover pink!

Hey man, whatever works. Have you considered having it coated? It just seems like a shame to have that pretty white block and then a rusty exhaust manifold I wasn't voting for the color, I was just voting for painting it

But on another note: A pink valve cover would stand out

I can't afford the time or money for it to be coated. Alright I'll go get some black paint for it tomorrow...

I vote leave it rusty. A 20 something yr old car needs a little rust. It shows it's age and adds a little something to the engine. You can't buy that rust, it can only be earned. Like all the little scars you get on your hands, from wrenching on your cars. They are battle wounds to display proudly. That manifold is his cars battle scar. And it should be proudly displayed.

And the pink valve cover. HMMM, you would not really do that, would you??

I don't use stupid photobucket. I've got my OWN website... which is currently down.

Skully wants me to sell him a Turbo valve cover. I'll paint his pink for him. It'll look good in the black Z

Speaking Of Skully Wheres He Bin Lately? Paint Is Good Enough Due To The Cost Of Coating, I Did My Header 4 Years Ago And Its Still Black. Only Problem With Light Paint Colors Is That It Stains Easily

sorry Skully, I just realized that you know all my dark secrets... I will never give you reason to seek revenge on me... buddy

Ok, I bought 1200deg "ceramic" WHITE high temp paint.
I wasted too much time this evening to get the manifold completely ready for paint...
