Hi,
I own a '79 280ZX with a 5-speed transmission. I am in dire need of a replacement rear axle halfshaft but I don't know where to look. I've called junkyards near my home here in Indiana but none seem to have any Z cars for parts. I also contacted the Victoria British catalog company but they don't seem to have the part. Neither does Motorsport Auto. Could someone please give me some guidance? About how much will this part cost? Also, if anyone happens to have a rear axle halfshaft on hand, please let me know! The halfshaft wasn't so bad before, but now its gotten much worse. I hear a clunk noise all the time now and it's probably pretty dangerous to drive around with it in such bad shape! Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks!

you can prolly get it fixed if all else fales.. jsut replace the universal joints...
