OK, Everybody stand up and give the WildmaN a round of applause for a job well done on his Z. Another Unicorn has taken flight!
You did a Hell of a job Aaron, you deserve mad props!

Ahh Wow, thanks a lot guys. That brings a tear to my eye, and means more to me than you will ever know. I am verry surprised, on this thread. And believe me I have learned a crapload more on doing a motor swap, and slowly restoring a Z back to his glory.
Thanks a lot guys, and I really mean it. And for the props from you Rod. And everybody else that has been there for me. Through the good and the bad.
YOU ALL ROCK!!

Any new pics that we should see?
Yeah give me some time yet. I just got done today, swapping out my rear struts and springs from my '81. Man what a difference in ride quality! My '81 had Tokico struts and springs all around. No wonder he rode so smooth.
Anyway I am still doing the cosmetic and such. I will post more pics probably on my sig. Because I would like some more modern ones put on there.
And my Z just about has all his power being used. I still have a slight miss to figure out. But I timed him by ear, and he is running pretty damn good. I need to get a timing light sometime soon. Then I know where to set the TPS, fuel/air mixture. Also I just purchased blue NGK plug wires on e-bay. So I should get those this week coming up. Also tomorrow, I am going to swap speedo cables from my '81. And I am putting my front bumper back on. I already painted it Cobalt metallic blue, and it looks friggin' sweet!

We all know Wildman has worked very hard on his Z, and it's not every day that we see one reborn the way Wildman has done his. Mad Props to you for your work to the Z, and we ALL wish you luck on her (or his) future life on the road. Congrat's Wildman
Well I took my Z out for pizza runs today. And he did great, I am proud of him. It is amazing what kind of attention a Z gets. Man I am loving this, long live the Z!
Once again thanks guys for the compliments. And it is still hard to believe I am driving a Z again. Oh what a great feeling!
Well I succesfully swapped out my speedo cable from my '81. And now I will know how fast I am going when the blue and reds are behind me. LOL. Anyway I promise I will have pics up soon. Just need to do a few more things, and then I will take some more pics of him.

Just a little info for you all. I have decided, I want to turn the whitewalls around to the inside. I am tired of looking at them. So I am going to find out how much the tire place will charge me to turn them around. And also I going after a full carpet set on e-bay. And then I can officially start finishing my interior. And then I gurantee I will have more pics to show, after I am done with it. The auction closes tomorrow afternoon. And if I get it, I will be so happy, and will finish up the interior. Wish me luck guys, and thanks.
