aftermarket compressor

aftermarket compressor

I bought a new compressor for my 1983 280zx car the connections are different than the original. any help on this on what I need to do? the new compressor is a mapco 34745 which is suppose to be a direct oe replacement? any tips would be greatly appreciated

I suppose you are talking about the A/C compressor? There are two different versions... one for the turbo & one for the n/a. I suggest taking it back & getting the other.

this is the one for my car according to data specs

my car is not a turbo and this compressor is for then/a

Dunno what else to tell ya... if the connections aren't the same, it's not the right one.
