Hey so I知 looking at this cheap Datsun and like cheap cheap but it has some pretty bad rust issues on the rear quarter panels and at the *** and I知 just a beginner So I知 wondering if it痴 worth it to get and slowly fix up

 

Rust is not for rookies. If there is metal missing (through rust holes) I would look for something else in better shape- you will be money ahead. Keep this in mind - it cost way more to restore a car than to buy a restored car. I did hear you say "cheap cheap". If the care runs well, take the car to a restoration shop and have them look at the chassis and load bearing metal. If there are problems, punt. If the chassis and load bearing metal are OK and you have lots of nothing else to do - go for it.
