'83 Hatch Glass

Hey Guys,

Do any of you know a resource for obtaining a new hatchback glass with defroster? Mine works, but only about 6 lines across the bottom actually clear the frost/condensation away.. Just curious..

I think the Haynes repair manual talks about using a lead / copper pen & a ruler to repair any damaged lines. I've never tried it tho.

Or you can go to a wrecking yard and get the whole hatch with glass in it for about 35-50 bucks...

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I don't know where I would look for that lead/copper pen. You ever seen them sold anywhere?

I know of a local book / craft store that sells them... I'd check into those types of businesses.

You can get a repair kit for the defogger at any parts store. I know Autozone sells them for a fact though cause I got one there. Have yet to use it though. Z doesn't see enough road time to warrant the time.
