I have a 1983 280ZX and only have one key. Can I go to any hardware store or Home Depot to make a key?

 

Probably not……I had to go to a locksmith who would likely still have the correct blanks. Btw…….get several copies and try one w your car prior to leaving the locksmith just to be sure. That way, if the key needs some minor buffing etc., you’re right there at his place.
