hello new to this forum and new to z's. i just recently picked myself a 1983 280zx for $300 bucks!
now i noticed their was a gas leak and just assumed it was the hose on the CSV (cold start valve) but after further examination. it appears the csv has a small hair line crack on the platic tube. i found replacement on rock auto for 92$ bucks, but was wondering if i could just slide the line on better and put two clamps and or tape on the tube.

The fuel pressure is ~30-35psi, so there's nothing that's going to fix a crack enough to stop a leak. Post a WTB thread in our classifieds section, and if you are on Facebook, check out the groups: 280ZX Drivers and Datsun Parts and Needs. I'm sure we can source you one fairly quick.
