Do they fit? im takin bout the 84-89

 

why not take your seats out and put z31 in and see. OR pull out this cool tool called a tape measure

 

they are very close to fitting, some people have been able to directly bolt them in and some people have had to modify them a little, but as far as the seat fitting the the aloted space, yeah your good.

i have personally put 300zx 8 way power seats into a 280zx before. for the drivers seat the x member under the seat needs to be cut to fit the motor. they are tight and a bit tall. if you are 6' tall like me, you look out the upper part of the windsheild. if your short like my customer, he loved them.. comfy and power lumbar. i just ran some circuits to them with breakers attached to the seat would never go dead.

 

Shady, would you happen to remember which wires were which for the chair's wiring harness?
