you can leave the rail just mounted by the injectors... but you ought to make 2 brackets to hold it there... don't want any accidents!

The stock fpr is mounted to the stock fuel rail... so no stock fuel rail... why worry about where it went? If you mean the fpr itself... you can cut off the brakets if ya want.

YOU WONT NEED ANY brackets ....I DIDNT MAKE ANY FOR MINE ,,,THE INJECTORS SEEM TO LOCK INTO PLACE NICELY...JUST MAKE SURE YOU PUT A GOOD SEALER ON ALL THE FITTINGS.... THEN LET IT DRY FOR A FEW DAYS INSIDE.... SO YOU DONT GET ANY LEAKS.....

Carburetor cleaner cleans the grease off good. I spayed my intake manifold last night, and the grease was coming off! It has a nice silver finish to it.

Dude! DO NOT USE CARB CLEANER!!!

Carb cleaner is for carbs... Many of the parts on your car have a coating on them from the factory that carb cleaner will destroy. You can seriously damage the TB by spraying carb cleaner in there. Using the right chemicals may require a little more elbow grease, but it will save your bacon in the end.

Rod.

Well of course you have to be careful, where you spray it. I am not saying spray inside the engine parts, just the outside. By the way I have used carb cleaner in my throttle body, so it would clean up, and run better. It worked great. Also when my '81 blew a hose, and sucked antifreeze into my air system, and into the throttle body. It freed it up great. I am not saying I am right, I am just going by my past experience with using it. All in all it worked for me, but I am not condoning using it, use it at your own risk.

No it was Kerosene and oil trick, it freed up my valves. An old recipe, that my dad has done before.

Here are some pics of what I did today.. Put the manifolds on the new motor for good..I gotta pull the wastegate off to swap the springs out.. In there now is a 7PSI spring and that is not good.. I got a 18PSI one thats going in.. And I gotta pull off the TPS to redrill the slots to fit on the 240sx T/B..
