280zx winshield blades::WEIRD???

so my blades havent been changed in about 7 years you heard it..and i went to the auto parts store with the car..poped the blade off and the guy gave me a replacement to use..whe i looked at the 2 side by side my original blade has a pin sticking out on it and the new one does not...tried banging the pin out but this just resulted in a big mess and a unusable blade...where do i go from here to get a blad with a pin to fit this arm on my 1981 zx...appreciate it

Some blades depending on the size sometimes don't come with the "pin" adapter. I've destroyed old blades to get the pin out of them to use with new wipers....

All proper blades have a little kit that as a couple connection choices for older cars. One will have a pin for the Z.

The other option is to simply slide the rubber blade out of the metal wiper and slip the new rubber into your old wiper. The old one's are WAY more sturdy than the new plastic crap too. I had mine powder coated so they never get old anymore!
