Worked one minute then failed the next all I get is the fuel pump priming then when I turn the key to start the starter motor does nothing the solenoid doesnt even click I just get the fuel pump noise. The motor has just been rebuilt.

And on another note the car keeps blowing the 10amp fuse which controls the volt meter, and the door lights.

I love datsun electrical!

 

All good just a stuck starter soleniod hitting it with the Tyre iron sorted it out.

Looks like I have to replace it.

 

Ah yes the good old hit it with a hammer technique I carried a hammer around in my car when my solenoid was acting up lol
