Hard to diagnose
hard to figure out your issue from what you have posted. have you downloaded the fsm and went through the troubleshooting steps ? It will work you though diagnosing what it is. No way we can tell what is wrong, and asking if the cat is clogged isn't much help. Once you have done the steps, you will have a better understanding of what is going on. We can help you once you start narrowing down the problem. The EFI system is pretty strait forward, there are a lot of connections that can be corroded, after time the plastic in these cars becomes brittle, wires and connectors can break. You just need to do the steps, when stumped come for help. If you only post once every 2 weeks, very few people will see the old thread after a day of posts, so it's not that we are ignoring you, you have to be proactive to keep your post in the lime light per say. If you are serious, post daily with questions, the empty drum and the squeaky wheel make the most noise... so keep posting with more descriptions of what you are experiencing, a video with good sound if possible.

If a member posts a reply, asking if you have checked the vacuum hoses, and no response from you, well, we will wait for you to do this simple step and get back to us, so we are not wasting anyone's time. It could very well be a vacuum issue, or timing advance issue. Check all the ends of your lines, sometimes all you need to do is trim of 1/2 inch of hardened rubber to get to a more pliable supple section. Does the car run ruff if you remove the dip stick or oil fill cap ? If yes, that is a good sign you have a stable vacuum, or a very tiny leak. As many have said before, don't just start swapping parts, best to do the troubleshooting steps.
