i would if i had a truck and place to store it.
but if i had those i would go get it for myself.
i only have a 300zx and 1979 300sd so no towing for me.
sorry i totally would though bro its a smokin deal i think i could part that mother and make like 800 percent on it.

There have been some good deals in Phoenix lately. I just picked up an '83 280ZX for $500 last week. It is in surprisingly good shape! We are currently restoring it - it will be my son's first car.

Hello everyone. Just joined the forum and I saw this post. I bought this car on Sunday and have started to restore it. The woman I bought it from doesnt even live in Phoenix. The car belonged to her dad and he was in the middle of restoring it when he passed away. He had the motor rebuilt and reinstalled but the guy never finished bleeding the clutch. So when the daughter shows up to check out the car and clean up his estate, one of her friends tells her that the fly wheel is missing and it would cost to to much to fix. (idiot) Once she sees how dirty the inside is (nothing missing just the rear hatch carpet torn up) she decides that the car isnt worth saving and she is just going to try and sell the motor. I show up with my tow dolly and take it home for $300. All its missing is a battery and a gas cap. As soon as I figure out how to post pics I will. This car was quite a deal. This is my second datsun I have restored, the first was a 74 240. Always liked the car, but the carb balancing was truly a pain. Look forward to learning more and always willing to help.
Thanks again

Well here is a couple of pics of the car. These were taken when i picked it up. It is starting to clean up real nice. The interior is in great shape considering were i live. It does have a couple of rust bubbles on the roof and around the bottom of the windshield but not no rot. I do have one problem though. Dropped in a new battery last night and started checking all the accesories. To my surprise everything works even the stereo and original speakers. The one thing that didnt work was the starter. I traced out the wires and found this relay on the passsenger side right by the battery. Not sure what this is. One wire goes from the starter solenoid, another to the fusible link box and the 3rd runs into the fire wall and i think it runs to the ignition switch. Is this the starter relay? I thought that was located in the car under the glove box. Any help would be appreciated and i will keep posting Pics and updating as i go.
Cheers

So I told the wife were taken in another one.
