Hello All,
I'm literally asking for a friend who does not own a computer or cell phone - and his heart still beats
It appears that a new and/or reman distributor is unobtanium. Does anyone know where I might find a stock distributor new - or good used?
Will the various "electronic" versions for sale on-line with no ICM unit - just a simple black to coil minus and red to coil plus work - plug and play ?

Unobtainable is correct. I have a used one that needs a lot of work, probably no better than yours. I think I bought the last rebuilt one in the universe after several months of looking. My advice is to forget about the "original" and go with something more modern that works. Good luck.

 

Al at California Datsun rebuilds them complete for $400.00 in 3-4 weeks Sounded like a deal to both me and my buddy. It's on it's way to California.
