I hit a dry spell there for a while, so my posts slowed down. That dial up was killing me

 

LOL..... what's dial-up? Soundz like something that should be outlawed or banned.

 

Now that's a good statement! Speaking of which... has anyone ever tried "NET-ZERO" ? All those bloody tv ads that say they have the fastest dial-up...

FAST does not belong anywhere near the word "DIALUP"

 

i live out in the boon doc's here, Cable and DSL ain't an option they give us, Sat Net cost to much, and WiFi is a dead zone. there are only three option's for internet here, And the local Gov won't let me have the one i want. there is a Fiber Optic line runnin right in front on my house, this ain't no small one eather, this thing is the size of a 2 litre bottle. and they don't use it, nor let any one use it, just rotting away. other two are Satalite internet, and that cost to much. Last is dail up, it's slow yes. but with out it. ya'll would not know me, nor would i even own a Z. I don't like dail up, but it get's me where i need to get. you can diss dail up all you want, but just remeber, it's alway's there for you, no mater what.

 

Actually, dial-up isn't bad if you configure your browser to not show pictures... You can also get one of the 'dial-up' accelerator options that compress the crap out of the images and that will speed it up too. You just lose image quality.

I Got Cable And Its Faster Than I Can Type, Click Or Think. Good Enough For Me.

 

Yeah I was using AOL (free trial) for a while but that got really annoying. So I switched to People PC accelerated for like $10 a month. It compresses images and was a lot faster than the AOL. Then I finally moved into a DSL zone. I'm switching to Cable once I get that hooked up. If that ever happens

 

how bought that new internet coming out...forget what it was called some college developed it and a bunch of students got in trouble for downloading thousands of movies...they said it did like 50 some movies in seconds...like 30 seconds or osmething...i dotn know, i jsut remember hearin that and i was like.....WTF!?! adn then stopped payin attention again, but thats ADD for you, wanna go ride bikes?

here's a post, Maby The moderator's (don't get mad moderator's, it's just a thought) can clean up them sticky's a bit, 280ZX Common Problems/Check list, ZX Spec's, Factory Service Manuel, and How Much Horse Power can go into one Thread, and the other's into another. There, Two sticky's instead of 7. It's just a thought, i am a organized persion, i think about stuff like that. And Bleach that new sticky you put up is a real helper for ppl. Good lookin out.
