Need some help here. I am trying to piggy back a new FI Harness and connectors to the FI's. Dealer supplied a Nissan Kit P/N 24079-42E26 that contains 3 FI female connetors, wired together at a common junction then on to only two female butt connectors. My 81 has a blue/wht wire and red wire from each connector at the FI from all six injectors and appears that they do not join at a common junction. I don't believe this is the proper kit to splice in new connectors at the injectors. Any help on what is the right splicing kit would be appreciated.

 

It'll work, but you'll either have to cut off the female connectors on the new harness and just hardwire it to your old harness, or get three male connectors to fit the females on the new harness and join those to the old harness so the new one will plug in. Just make sure you get the polarity correct when splicing the wires together. I had to read it a couple times, but I think I get what you're trying to say, and if so then either way will work. PS. How much did you pay for that sub-harness, the guy at the dealer where I used to live wouldn't give me a price without a VIN and I never bothered inquiring about it again.
