What kind of gear oil should I use
I'm wondering what kind of gear oil I should use for my transmission? Last year, I put some 80w-90 in there but the transmission shifts kind of hard when it warms up. Should I step up to the 85w-140 gear oil? It's over 110 degrees in the shade out here during the summer.

heavy is good
I would definently go with the heavier stuff. Oil is the cheapest insurance for any part of your car. Im running 90w-145 and i cant feel that much of a difference (as in slower or sluggish) compared to when i had 80w-90 a couple of weeks ago. Unless youre scrapin for those 100ths of a second id say youre good to go with the heavier stuff, especially in that heat! its also i a little bit quieter and smoother. All in all good!
