what am i doin wrong now?
ok well i dont know what im doing wrong but its really pissin me off iv tried everything to get the flywheel off! is there a special way to get them off like a trick? i got my dad to hold the crank sprocket bolt (i think its called that rite?) while i tried rippin off the flywheel bolts and ther not moven. what do i do!

Its an air tool that, shaped roughly like a big handgun that uses impact sockets (just heavy duty sockets). It rapidly impacts the nut/bolt to be removed while trying to turn it (instead of a smooth motion). This helps to break it loose. In some cases this really the only way to get some bolts loose.
They make small handheld impact drivers but those are really meant for smaller screws and what not. I've never physically seen an electrically powered impact gun but they do exist.

That's weird, I didn't have much trouble getting my flywheels off. I have taken them off both of my L28 motors. Hmm, really strange, well good luck to you getting them off. Do you have a stick or automatic? I don't know how much difference that makes. But just a thought, nonetheless.

It just wouldn't fit in the damn car.That cordless impact gun sure would be handy for junkyard runs though
