Unsignaled turns....
Having trouble with the turn signals on my '83t. Just driving along and the right side blinker started blinking. The switch was still in the middle. I pushed the switch down as if to signal a left turn and the left side blinker came on just as it should, but the right side was still also flashing.
I suspect a bad switch. The flasher is fine and the fuse is fine. Just exactly how much of a bitch is it to change the switch on the steering column? Looking at it I think it would be hell. If someone has done this before, please let me know what I'm in for, or if I should just let someone else do it.
Thanks!

I had a simular problem but the left blinker would come on at random when the car was off! Somtimes this could drain the battery down.
At the time my four way flasher switch was very sensative and hard to get it to stay on when I needed it. I thought it was that switch. After replacing a couple of the primary relays in the engine compartment both problems were solved. It had nothing to do with the switches.
