i'm tryin to figure somethin out, but i lost my oh so helpfull haynes guide book. is the transmission on 2+2 model 280zx shorter than one thats on the 2 seater. when i put the driveshaft back on after i switched the auto to a 4sp, it just seems that the driveshaft isnt long enough. any ideas,

 

the auto tranny is a little bit lonnger than the manual. you need the drive shaft from the manual for it to work right.
