Timing!!! Wtf!
So my z is running really rich. Hurts my eyes to drive it lol. So i rebuilt it, and finally bought a light. The marking on the pulley is below the marker thing. So what did i do wrong?
Also my baby surges at start up, but when i disconnect the boost control acceleration device it stops. Now it runs smooth, just very rich, and a lack of power. Any suggestions are appreciated. THANK YOU!!!!!

If the timing marker is below the entire timing plate, that means you installed the oil pump shaft / dizzy shaft one tooth off. I've discussed this MANY times.

I do appreciate your reply friend. What should i look for to avoid this? Should I bother fixing it or will there be any consequences if i drive it? BTW I rebuilt it because the head gasket was going had a lot of miles so i was like eh its out why not rebuild it.
