is their a better gasket?

i am going to change my intake/exhaust manifold gasket again, and was wondering if their is a better quality gasket than the autozone "Felpro" brand. this one only lasted about 6 months of easy driving!
Any help would be aperciated.

Unfortunately they're all basically the same... cardboard & foil. A couple years ago I went on a mad search for someone to make me a copper one, but it was just too pricey.

The stock / Felpro gasket should hold up for a long time (100k miles+) if installed & maintained correctly. Are all the intake & exhaust bolts / studs still there (none have broken off) ? Did you re-torque them several miles after install?

i love the fel pro, i bought the fancy msa gasket meant for headers, it didnt last at all so i switched back to the good ol felpro. check the how to section for the article of how to do your gasket change as well to prep yourself.
