Angry Swaped Heater & Now Blower Problem

I pulled the dash on my son's 82 280zx to replace the heater core & A/C box. The blower worked before the swap, but now it doesn't. I still have the dash off, but can start the car. I have connected all the conections on the blower. Does the dash & all the connections on it have to be connected also? I am at a loss why the blower doesn't work now. I tested it (direct to the battery & it blows hard). Any suggestions? Thanks

the dash doesnt have to be on, but i would connect all the connectors first. if not, check all your fuses wiggle them if they seem ok. even though my car was an S30 when my blower stopped working so did my radio, so it will probably be tied into more than one system for your car as well.

Thanks for suggestion. I was tired when I quit and today I rechecked all the connections. Wouldn't you know I forgot one bottom connector so now the blower works. Put dash on but now have to find out why horn quit, but I should be able to figure it out (will try later when not tired since I put the dash in by myself).

Bam!

Did you take off the steering wheel to remove the dash? If so, check the horn pad / connections on the steering wheel.

On the heater blower right underneath the passenger side if u have tooking off the heater blower there is a small 5 amp fuse in a clear box on the reverse side of the blower motor i know its there because i had to completey redo my 1982 280zx heater core and heater blower. some times the fuse blows on the back of the blower.. dont ask why it just does i guess... mine did..

Are ya ever going to read these things first? I'm pretty sure he FIXED the original problem.
Now if you were to give advice about the horn I wouldn't be giving you grief.
