Ok so for a while i have had this sputtering problem like the car is going to die (but it never does) when i turn the ignition on and start driving it. It gets better as the engine warms up, but still continues to sputter like something isnt igniting right. I just purchased and installed new fuel injectors...can anyone help me?

 

Is it running rich? Blowing smoke? Is it a turbo or n/a motor? Did the new injectors change anything?

 

Have you checked the ignition timing? Then I would say Cylinder Head Temp Sensor, and also check your Throttle Position Sensor. It could also be related to your Ignition Module, but start with the timing.

 

yeah what they said, and also look for vacuume leaks maybe change your cap rotor and plugs and wires. you know a tune up. and yeah check that timing.

 

i had a 86 300zx and i had a similar problem and it was the o2 [oxygen] senser had it to 10 mech once it was replaced i had no problem hope yhi helps cheers
