Runs Rich

1983 280zx runs rich.

I have through other projects replaced the ECU, CHTS, and the O2 sensor. I also have a new Fuel pump on.

Is it a pressure regulator? maybe a AFM?

Any ideas how to go about pin pointing the problem. I dont want to have to take it to a shop where more than likely nobody there will know anything about the car.

How do you know it runs rich?
Runs rich on all cylinders?
Have you read the plugs?
Have you checked the fuel pressure?

The car backfires, and it about makes you gag when it is running. The gas smell in the exhaust is bad.

You need to probe further in Uranus to discover why you have a bad gas smell problem......
