pleazzze help (update)
Just wanted to let everyone know.....My Z is doing just fine now. It passed the emissions testing (even the NOx !!!) and I've been driving her for the past two days to work.
Now.........if I could just figure out why my blower motor and my injector fan won't work, I'll be in business.
Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!

Generally it's the blower motor relay under the fan. You can see it if you crawl under the dash after removing the dash panel below the glovebox for more space. I'm assuming you have the auto climate control?
Edit: Just re-read the original question. Is your injector fan or the blower motor for the interior? If it's the injector fan, I wouldn't worry too much. It's only designed to work after the igntion has been off and at a certain temp to prevent vapor lock. I've ran my Z for years without it, and never had a problem with vapor lock even in the Phoenix desert at 100+ outside.

The original post is way old... congrats on serching!
The Thermotime switch for the fan is on the thermostat housing. That that connector has corrosion or is broken (looks like the fuel injector connectors) then it could be causing your problem.
Or it could be the connector on the fan itself. I got my Z the injector fan was just unplugged. There were two bullet connectors that just plugged in and the next time I turned off the engine the fan kicked on.
Anyways, I've had problems with hot starts, and the injector fan did nothing to help so I just pulled it and tossed it into a box.
