nooob with dumb questions???
hey im new to this site and new to the 280 nightmare... my question is how do i wire up a msd street fire coil? i tried and it started on fire when i turned the key... please help and post pics!!!

Black with yellow stripe to the positive and blue to the negative IIRC but that's just off the top of my head. You can double check in the FSM at www.xenons130.com

Sounds like you swapped the wires around. That link Fric posted is a cool tool... FREE factory service manual!!! If that's too much to do, find a Haynes guide. I live by that thing.
