My Z

I have a 1983 280zx and I'm wondering what are some of the best ways to get some more power out of it
v8 swap?
rebuild i-6?
boost?

i need a good place for parts also

People say that boost is the easiest, cheapest way to make power... Although with these cars you don't need a whole lot of power to make them go, my 130whp felt like a LOT more than it was.

from what I've heard, V8 swaps are pretty difficult in our cars since the engine bay is so tight (it's bigger than the S30 yet there's not as much room under the hood wtf) although it would make for a lot of power right off the bat (even though I don't necessarily like it because I think it takes away from the 'spirit' of the Z, IMO)

Try swapping to a 3.9:1 R200 diff, that should also get you some acceleration.

thezstore.com is probably your best bet for overpriced parts for our Z's
