Maxima alternator on 1980 280ZX question
Hi, I just recently bought a 1980 280zx and I just discovered the PO changed the stock alternator to a '89 Maxima alternator. The pulley on it is corroded and the belt is slipping no matter how much I tighten it. My question is can I just replace it with a pulley from a stock 280zx alternator and do I have to do any adjustments to the pulley? Thanks.
